About

Hi, I'm Kevin!

About Me

I have been serving as an Ordained Minister since 2010 through the Universal Life Church, and I am honored to be able to participate in the sacred union of couples from all walks of life. I believe in the power of love and respect the diversity of religious views and ceremony preferences that each couple brings.

In my everyday life, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to serve as a full-time firefighter, where I am dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of my community.

Beyond my professional roles, I am blessed to be a father and husband. These roles have taught me the importance of family, commitment, and the value of nurturing meaningful relationships.

Why officiate weddings?

You know, sometimes life takes us down unexpected paths. Picture this: You're in college, jokingly getting ordained online without the faintest idea that it might come in handy one day. Fast forward a few years, and suddenly you find yourself officiating weddings. How did that happen? Well, let me tell you why someone might actually enjoy this unexpected turn of events.

First and foremost, officiating weddings allows me to be part of a couple's special day. I get a front-row seat to witness the joy, love, and celebration that permeates the atmosphere. It's a heartwarming experience to stand before two people, who have found happiness in each other, and play a significant role in uniting them in marriage.

As an officiant, I have the opportunity to create a personalized ceremony that reflects the couple's unique love story. I work closely with them to craft vows, select readings, and incorporate meaningful rituals or traditions. It's a chance to exercise my creativity and make their wedding ceremony truly memorable and reflective of their relationship.

Being an officiant also allows me to meet a diverse range of people from various backgrounds and cultures. Each wedding brings with it new stories, perspectives, and traditions. It's a wonderful opportunity to expand my horizons and gain a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity of human experiences.

Moreover, officiating weddings gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. By guiding couples through their vows and witnessing the beginning of their marital journey, I contribute to their happiness and play a small role in shaping their future together. It's a meaningful way to make a positive impact on people's lives and leave a lasting impression.

Lastly, let's not forget the unexpected perks that come with the job. You get to witness some unforgettable moments, from heartfelt speeches to hilarious wedding mishaps. Plus, there's often delicious wedding cake involved. Who can resist that?

So, even if you stumbled into officiating weddings with no intention of ever using that college certificate, you may find yourself enjoying it more than you could have imagined. It's a role filled with love, joy, creativity, and the privilege of uniting two people in a lifelong commitment. And hey, at least you finally found a practical use for that college ordination!
